“We think there is a multi-billion dollar market around transactions and contracting,” Mehta said in an interview. “And if we summed up all the providers in this space today, we’d barely be one AmLaw 100 firm, so we think there is a lot of opportunity ahead of us.”

"With the new investment, Factor plans to keep adding to its ranks. “Hiring is going to be critical for us,” Mehta said. He added, “We currently have a team of about 500 people globally that’s split across Poland, Belfast, Chicago, Raleigh, New York and London, and our goal, in the immediate term, is to nearly double that across the globe.”
Specifically, Mehta said that Factor will be “building out industry teams and segments that will support our customers in ways they understand. So we’ll be hiring a number of industry specialists that can cover individual markets like financial services, life sciences, telecom, tech and enterprise.” Beyond hiring, Mehta said Factor also intends to use the investment to expand its technology capabilities, not just “in products and services, but also in our delivery infrastructure.”
